Many of you know about the Animal Planet show Rattlesnake Republic and their disgusting promotion of slaughtering rattlesnakes for profit. I recently started a petition to get Animal Planet to remove this program from their network. The Texas Zoo has invited the men from Rattlesnake Republic to participant in their Viper Day event this weekend. If you disagree that a zoo should allow such individuals to represent their establishment that is suppose to be devoted to conservation and education not eradication then please send a letter, a Facebook comment, and sign a petition:
