Ethan Kocak is an artist, animator and writer with a lifelong passion for reptiles and amphibians that began over 20 years ago. Living in upstate New York, he grew up catching eastern garter snakes, red backed salamanders and taking people out on rainy spring nights to watch spotted salamanders breed. He currently keeps various species of gecko and breeds Rhacodactylus, Lepidodactylus, Phelsuma, and Gehyra, and has had many experiences with keeping and caring for many other herps in captivity.
